WE were three flowers, as a family, the eldest ( Indira) , the fairest, goodlooking and dearest of our Father.

 I am the youngest of the lot, the darkest child, with chubby cheeks and she used to pinch them so often and used to call me Kaka ( crow ) being dark. Our father had to settle that every time.

She was the sole person behind my medical profession and afterwards she used to seek my advise for any health problems and closely adhered to my opinion.

“As the poet Sri. Kumaran  Asan in his famous poem in Malayalam, The “veena poove”,

----- looking at the flower which had once bloomed on the top of a plant like a Queen and has now fallen on the ground- ----.

He sympathises in his soliloquy that Wealth, Power and Beauty never last long in this earth…..  “

But here, my sister’s dedication to her family and the ardent love for her Husband will definitely out live her.
